Meci has won a new sulphur transactional metering contract
Meci has been awarded a major sulphur transactional metering contract for Technip in Qatar.
This solution is part of the « Plateau Maintenance Project » (PMP) project undertaken by TECHNIP Chiyoda Joint Venture for Qatar Liquefied Gas Company (QATARGAS) at Ras Laffan, in Qatar.
The metering system comprises coriolis mass meters and CDN12 flow computers.
The Meci solution processes sulphur in its liquid phase using an insulation system to maintain it at temperatures of 170°C.
Meci has worked with TECHNIP to produce technical specifications for the metering installation. This turnkey solution addresses the major space restrictions affecting the Qatargas site. »
The Meci chromatograph chosen for the GRT Gaz transport network
As part of the Simone project, the Gaz Réseau Transport (GRT Gaz) has selected the Meci site chromatograph as the reference system. The Meci site chromatograph will be used to produce gas quality control points throughout the entire network.
The GRT Gaz energy delivery stations incorporate Meci energy metering assemblies comprising a site chromatograph combined with one or more site gas volume correctors. This concept is deployed on combined cycle units where electricity is generated from natural gas.
Meci provides gas metering for the Artère du Béarn
TIGF has just awarded Meci a contract for the construction of a gas transactional metering unit for the "Artere du Béarn" project.
Meci will be supplying the transactional metering unit at storage intake/outlet points.
This highly innovative station is equipped with: ultrasonic meters, redundant multi line flow computers, redundant site chromatographs and a communication system used to deliver files to the Company’s network via the Internet.
Total E&P Qatar has selected Meci for modernising a metering and monitoring system
Meci has provided an innovative metering solution compatible with the current installation and integrating the TOTAL E&P requirements. It is based on the new Meci CDN16 flow computer.
CDN16 is a multi-line panel-mounted flow computer designed for gas and liquid transactional metering applications.
Sonatrach renews its confidence in Meci for a LPG skid
Meci has been chosen once again by Sonatrach through Saipem engineering for the supply of a LPG metering skid.
The metering skid located at Hassi Messaoud is equipped with three meter lines using ultrasonic meters (accuracy always better than 0.2%) for a maximum flow rate of 900 m3/h and a sampling system.
Meci has also supplied a metering cabinet equipped with CDN12 flow computers, and a supervision system that provides instant access to all metering data, report editing and management of the Master-Meter function where 2 ultrasonic meters are installed in series to produce a metrological comparison of the 2 flow meters.
