Countum at a glance
Since 2009, the Countum group merges companies Meci and Satam and comes to the market with a global solution for Oil and Gas flow management.
Based in Issoudun (French department 36), Meci is a company specialized in liquid and gaseous hydrocarbon custody transfer measurement. The company has strong engineering expertise in the management of gas and petrol flow as well as in automation and supervisory systems.
With the aquisition of Meci, Countum adds to the Satam offer - the French leader in industrial and custody transfer energy flow measurement – solutions addressing large depot management and energy operations including logistics solutions and stocking of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons.
Through a joint sales force, Countum will now be able to have a more internationally based strategy. The industry principals will now be able to see Countum as offering a complete solution that covers all their requirements in flow management, with a very wide range of products and solutions.
